David Fincher is an insanely talented mastermind, but this movie is too damn long for its own good. it’s riveting through out the entire runtime, but its many segues makes you feel stuck in an endless loop. Gyllenhaal’s performance is still one of my favorites from him, and i know i won’t be able to stop thinking about this film for many more days (or weeks) to come, which is the wonderful power of Fincher!
