Of all the late 80's/early 90's action stars Wesley Snipes was by far the most underappreciated. The guy was just as charismatic as Arnie, he had the moves that could complement JCVD and Dolph Lungren and he could actually carry a film with real acting talent, unlike the others mentioned. Jokes aside, this series owes a great debt to the works of Stephen King more so than the actual source novel. In some ways you could call this Mike Flanagan's take on "It" as the parallels are aplenty.
