Ben Cramer’s review published on Letterboxd:
Despite the film running at 200 minutes long, this classic sequel is an extraordinary accomplishment for the cast and its director, Francis Ford Coppola. Very tragic and just as violent as its predecessor, Part II does a fantastic job at chronicling the parallel of young Vito's rise to Michael's fall as he amorally continues to build his family's empire. Pacino was robbed of an Oscar, and De Niro was fully deserving of his Best Supporting Actor. Personally, this is my second favorite sequel behind Nolan's "The Dark Knight".
