Thelma Schoonmaker is probably the top reason this film is as great as it is. Which is crazy to say considering it stars Leo with Scorsese behind the camera. 3 hours of bat shit high adrenaline craziness and that is thanks to the editing from Schoonmaker. This also has an excellent supporting cast that includes Jon Bernthal & Kyle Chandler which are a couple of my favorite actors who always kill it in supporting roles.
