Has to be one of the most pleasant surprises of the year! I didn’t grow up with Chip and Dale and am not familiar with the old characters, but it doesn’t matter, this was so much fun!

I feel like this is what Space Jam 2 wanted to be. There’s countless IP character cameos and Easter eggs, but they don’t feel cheap and usually give way to a great laugh. They didn’t take away from the film’s heart, entertaining story and incredibly sharp and self-aware script. I honestly didn’t know what to expect with this movie but I loved it! And it also now has me longing for the return of 2D animation.
