one of those movies where you’re just waiting for the other shoe to drop in the third act, when things will suddenly shift gears and become much more dour. which is exactly what happens, in ways that i sometimes didn’t totally buy.

mads is really exceptional, obviously, and yes the final scene is very very very great! also the power walking scene, and the general feeling it gave me of “ok what if i moved to denmark...but seriously.”
