A film meant to be watched in the dead of night while the wind howls outside and your memory turns fuzzier and fuzzier as the night drags on.
Very Lovecraftian in its execution (think Shadow of Innsmouth) and it would make an excellent double feature with Gary Sherman's Dead & Buried.
The version on Amazon Prime is just cruddy enough visually to recommend
