Letterboxd — Your life in film

I’m not sure how I feel about it ending, but I certainly think they did a really good job with animating it. I think this is one of a handful of movies that doesn’t try to use animation to replace live action but instead it fills in the gaps and the things that you just can’t create with film.

masterpiece. some of the best costume/hair/makeup design I’ve ever seen. plus I love rocks

Not as good as the first but still fun. Jokes don’t land as well as they did in the first and Levi is used too much, but after the first third it does pick up. Zegler and Grazer the standouts tho.

I’m pretty sure this is really good but I don’t understand it

There is something so valuable about giving weird (not derogatory) people the light of day to tell their stories.

Goes on for too long but is carried by great performances from Goth and Skarsgard. Theme gets kinda muddled but there’s always something to draw you back into the sick narrative. Recommend if you like weirdo shit.
