Brotherly love takes on many forms. In this one, I would consider it strained, but what true relationship isn't? Dan Lotz and Joshua Horvath have an amazing chemistry and great at improvising as brothers. The intensity that Joshua put into his final scenes is palpable and too real. It really is just like Dan Lotz to make a movie when his life is in turmoil! Something I love about him.

I wish this film were a little longer!

P.S. The house has great comedic timing with power outages. Perfect!

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. - John Donne, No Man Is An Island

I'd like to think that Joel had this poem in mind, but who knows. Ha. You can feel the connectedness with each undertaking Joel's character finds himself. The fish is my favorite part. Funny how the fish and bird sort of comeback when he's on the mainland... With the whale and parrot, all that. Probably just me.

I've never worked in a movie theater before, and I don't want to even now. Ha! I love the interviews with the other theater workers. It is too bad about the not being able to smell popcorn, it smells so gooood! 🍿
This will be a good film to look back on.
