My main complaint is that it lacks any of that sweet Pixar magic. It’s much more in line with what Disney Animation Studios has been putting out recently than what we’re used to from Pixar.
Fun, but it’s missing that space ranger kick in the feels.
Besides that, I really dug this a lot; especially the way it doesn’t feel dumbed down at all. Target audience is definitely kids, but it doesn’t ever feel too much like a kids movie - it’s a neat little entry level sci-fi adventure.
Oh and I’m absolutely obsessed with Sox
