The first film in the set for the main competition. I found this short to be quite cutesy and funny, but there's this little poignancy behind the characters; the sense of belonging, kind of like in a Wong Kar-wai film.
Shot only using a smartphone, the cinematography is nothing to write home about. The "actors" have limited motion, but then again, they are artist's reference figures. The music fits the visuals well.
I mildly like it.
Why does this movie exist?
To be quite honest, this film being labeled as "the most violent movie of all time" is overkill; it is not as violent as I thought. (Though I got to be honest that the fire extinguisher scene and the underpass scene are too much.)
Needless to say, the plot is pretty meh; Marcus, who is Alex's lover, takes revenge for the r*** of her. Pretty generic plot, if I got to be honest.
