Stop-Motion

Why do I love stop motion so much? Because the sight of something so obviously fake seemingly come to life is almost magical to behold, because there's a warm intimacy to knowing each and every frame has been carefully crafted, because—and this might be the most important of all—it takes someone who really believes in the story they're telling to go to all that work to slave over their characters' every motion in the most meticulous detail. I adore stop motion, and I hate that I haven't seen much much more of it. Here are my favourites. Tell me what to watch!
