It's surprising, which is a rare feat these days, especially for a comic book movie.
Raimi's creepy flair is mostly subtle but it's still there, including a fun little nod to 'Evil Dead II'.
The story is good, including some fantastic multiverse cameos, but the America Chavez character is barely developed, the film mostly revels in the characters previously developed in other films and shows.
The effects are great, as you'd expect from a Marvel movie, and the movie itself is great, even if it doesn't deliver any huge shocks or goosebump moments.
A worthy addition to the MCU.
