Rewatch in preparation for total emotional destruction for tomorrow’s viewing of If Beale Street Could Talk

DAMN THOSE ANGLES. Tells a story within a story! I had somehow forgotten how dazzling the cinematography held things together in a more slow of a burn than my memory served.
I could go on and on about the desperation of love within Chiron, the pleas for affection, the sense of loss in one’s accomplishments. Underneath all of that is a human that wants what not all are shown or can always find in their darkest times; forgiveness and love.
