Dawson’s review published on Letterboxd:
a sleeper stunner cover to cover. knew i was gonna dig it from what i had heard but man this got me. whenever the restaurant chef was talking about local, familiar goods made and presented in a way that’s foreign - that’s how the movie read to me. what initially felt like something i’d tasted before, an indie revenge thriller, instead provoked my expectations with its use of exposition and tropes and put something more meditative in its place (((Alex Wolff)))
