this starts out sooo slow but it becomes so captivating… also insane that this was made in 1968 like who knew it was possible to make stuff like this back then? AND the zombies in this are so funny like those guys are that slow and you still die? lmao

found this insane little movie whilst looking through netflix’s catalog and honestly i really liked it… i’m kind of still reeling from all the things that happen in 85 minutes but it’s good. french people you are so good at making fucked up movies ❤️

my first varda !! <3 this movie was everything i expected and more... so much warmth, so much beauty... i loved it so much

i was going to say this didn’t do a lot for me but then the hand kissing scene happened and i had to stop the movie because i started sobbing

halfway done with wong kar-wai’s filmography :) loved this one sooo much, it had one of my favourite endings ever and takeshi kaneshiro is the man of my dreams <3

i know i talked shit about this movie the first time i watched it but ever since movie connoisseur and dear mutual raphael and i talked about it i decided to rewatch it and not only they play six different ways by the cure but also this is the best way to adapt bret easton ellis because he is gross and evil and terribly funny and i love it actually. also i haven’t really stopped thinking about it ever since i first watched it so it was going to happen one way or another

this is going to be the movie that plays in my head all day for the next 2 months i think

i wanted to save this for last before i started season 2 because i knew it was gonna hit me big time and let me just say hunter schafer is my favourite actress. like she gives life to jules in a way that’s so genuine and emotional and i love her to bits. i want her in every movie. also let her write every episode from now on because she just gets it

this was alright! i had big expectations but it was a bit lacklustre and dragged out at times (this was also a problem with the source material because i know it’s an adaptation of a 400-something pages long book) but i’m glad this story was told because gay conversion therapy is something that is very much still real and these kids’ voices need to be heard. there were some really good moments, though! just as a whole it felt a bit messy

i loooove hangout movies so much. this was so genuinely funny (which is rare for a raunchy bro comedy PLUS it was made in the early 2000s so y’know) and i didn’t know bill my friend bill was in it so i was like hey that’s bill! anyways jonah hill is really hot. like he’s hot, he’s been hot, and i wish they would put him in a romantic comedy as the lead. that’s it, goodnight <3

very ashamed to say that this was my first hitchcock… i loved it sooo much, i think all gay people should have a little murder, as a treat. also it’s absolutely crazy to me that this was made in 1948 like having this level of homosexuality in your movie in the 40s? wow. also i love a brown suit moment ❤️
