    The Rules of Attraction

i know i talked shit about this movie the first time i watched it but ever since movie connoisseur and dear mutual raphael and i talked about it i decided to rewatch it and not only they play six different ways by the cure but also this is the best way to adapt bret easton ellis because he is gross and evil and terribly funny and i love it actually. also i haven’t really stopped thinking about it ever since i first watched it so it was going to happen one way or another

this is going to be the movie that plays in my head all day for the next 2 months i think

  • Euphoria: F*ck Anyone Who’s Not a Sea Blob

Euphoria: F*ck Anyone Who’s Not a Sea Blob

i wanted to save this for last before i started season 2 because i knew it was gonna hit me big time and let me just say hunter schafer is my favourite actress. like she gives life to jules in a way that’s so genuine and emotional and i love her to bits. i want her in every movie. also let her write every episode from now on because she just gets it

  • The Miseducation of Cameron Post

    The Miseducation of Cameron Post

this was alright! i had big expectations but it was a bit lacklustre and dragged out at times (this was also a problem with the source material because i know it’s an adaptation of a 400-something pages long book) but i’m glad this story was told because gay conversion therapy is something that is very much still real and these kids’ voices need to be heard. there were some really good moments, though! just as a whole it felt a bit messy

  • Superbad

i loooove hangout movies so much. this was so genuinely funny (which is rare for a raunchy bro comedy PLUS it was made in the early 2000s so y’know) and i didn’t know bill my friend bill was in it so i was like hey that’s bill! anyways jonah hill is really hot. like he’s hot, he’s been hot, and i wish they would put him in a romantic comedy as the lead. that’s it, goodnight <3

very ashamed to say that this was my first hitchcock… i loved it sooo much, i think all gay people should have a little murder, as a treat. also it’s absolutely crazy to me that this was made in 1948 like having this level of homosexuality in your movie in the 40s? wow. also i love a brown suit moment ❤️

  • 10 Things I Hate About You

10 Things I Hate About You

this was the very first movie in my watchlist ❤️ can’t believe it took me this long to watch it, but i think waiting made it all even funnier because i literally was kat in high school (and i kind of still am. working on it) and being 20 now and seeing her made my heart grow three sizes because i have never related to a character more. also this is the most romantic movie ever, but that is probably…

  • Last Night in Soho

    Last Night in Soho

this was one of my most anticipated movies of the past year and sadly it was a pretty big disappointment. halfway through i was really frustrated and just wanted it to end already… something about using women’s fear of SA and turning it into a horror movie just doesn’t sit right with me. also eloise didn’t feel interesting enough to be the protagonist, i would’ve preferred just 2 hours of 60s anya taylor-joy. i don’t know, it felt messy, like an half-assed unfinished project for school :(

  • Shallow Grave

    Shallow Grave

murderous nonbinary throuple rights! everything about this was so fun and ewan mcgregor has the most luscious locks i’ve ever laid eyes on. the cinematography is sooooo pretty and even though it was a bit convoluted at times it was really good because i love bisexuals and murder

  • But I'm a Cheerleader

    But I'm a Cheerleader

i think all gay movies should be like this. so fun but so heartfelt and also i got butterflies in my stomach like a thousand times oh my god. also made my love for girls grow even more like i love girls so much so soso so SO much anybody wants to be the graham to my megan hmu

  • Titane

i was absolutely terrified going into this because when i first watched raw i nearly fainted like three different times and i was right because this was absolutely insane! also i think julia ducournau should be allowed to do whatever she wants forever. i have no idea what to say about this movie. it’s life changing stuff i think. also this was agathe rousselle first feature film!!!!! WHAT!!!! screaming and crying and so on and so forth

  • Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood

Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood

so funny that i chose this as my first movie of the year since i make fun of this guy so much but i had a good time and that’s all that matters. so much happens here but also so little? also it’s super messy at times? and tim roth was supposed to be in it but got cut? but anyway my favourite scene was when a bunch of teenagers yelled at brad pitt to fuck off for like two minutes. also timothy olyphant looked really hot but what’s new
