moonlight was a vision. something ive never seen before and something i somehow always knew i ached for. it was simple and delivered so beautiful it stole my breath. i cried consistently throughout the whole movie, not just because it's devastating (which it is) but also because of how authentic the performances were, how poignant the silences were, how you could see and feel every emotion that each of the characters expressed. this movie is beautiful, i dont know if we'll ever see something this outstanding again, but i hope so.
