  5 reasons why I think Forrest Gump is a cinematic masterpiece:

  1. Robert Zemeckis’s amazing directing and storytelling.

  2. Tom Hanks’s unforgettable performance as a man that has an iq of 70 and became a millionaire, military man and a celebrity.

  3. It being probably one of the most iconic films ever made.

  4. Drives everyone to tears.

  5. Explores pretty much every genre. Such as: Romance, drama, comedy and war.

  I love Forrest Gump. In my eyes it’s one of the most beautiful and perfect films ever created. Bob Zemeckis, I thank you.

  That’s all I have to say about that.

  Edit: Terrence Malick always takes me on a roller coaster full of beauty and romance. Knight of Cups accomplished that in such a beautiful-sounding and stunning way.

  You can say whatever you want about Joker, but to me it’s a masterpiece. Joaquin gave an outstanding performance and Todd Phillips delivered something no one expected.
