I uh bawled a lot at this film. I didn’t even particularly like the first 30 minutes I thought it was so convoluted as many Kaufman films are. But the memory scenes of Joel and the grief he possessed even from a kid. I think it was very important to only see Joel Happy when with Clem or his mother as you get the grief and you know what I didn’t even like Joel until he realised he still loved…
