  Lucifer Rising 1972

  Well.. where do I start Lucifer Rising... Any film that features Egyptian goddesses, the devil, beautiful archaeology and a man being burned alive by a volcano is good in my books. With no dialogue, and a hypnotic sound tracks (although I prefer Pages) you can't turn away from it. It truly is *magical* and Marianne Faithfull steals the show.. which let's be honest isn't a surprise.

  I don't know this film just feels empty? Like it's missing something. I can't complain, it does what it promises, tells the life of Jim Morrison but apart from that it's not special. And not at all memorable. Meg Ryans portrayal of Pamela was one of the only things that kept me watching at the worst moments.
