Utterly looney creature feature penned and eventually disavowed by Clive Barker. Understandable given the end product monster looks rather ridiculous but the macabre folk horror overtones lead to deathcult carnage. So while dumb and maybe derivative, there’s still entertainment and spectacle to be had.
