Antiporno 2016
I genuinely loved this movie. Like actually one of the movies I’ll return to.
Hate to be the woke liberal but a trigger warning should be associated with this movie. I walked in blind and there is a lot to do with sexual assault and domestic assault. That’s all I will say.
A lot of theories can be made with this movie but idgaf, take it and watch it as it is, don’t overthink it. Just love it.

Girl, Interrupted 1999
This movie, in short, did not age well.
It’s a very good film, but for me constant voiceovers of the characters internal monologue isn’t super appealing, I would rather them show that through the character than telling us out loud.
I also think this movie is really harmful to anyone struggling with mental health and, without meaning to, kind of disregards the mental disorder the main character is diagnosed with (BPD).
I think any movie that deals with the topic…
