I went into this with ridiculously high expectations and it still blew me away. A 3.5 hour long movie that holds my attention the whole way through is something really special. This clearly created so many tropes and the scope is so large yet so small, it’s just so excellently crafted. I completely understand now why this is often regarded as the best film of all time. A masterpiece!
