“i just don’t want to put any more stress on my family”
i don’t want to get too personal in this review but i know what it’s like to watch grief manifest itself in increasingly troubling ways and this film does an amazing job portraying grief in all its nastiness and unpredictability. the feeling of dread that takes over my body when i watch this is unreal. ari aster is a magnificent director and he couldn’t have picked a better cast. this film stresses me out but i can’t help but love and admire it.
