Dean Wormer’s review published on Letterboxd:
Technically brilliant with a few standout scenes, especially the opening and close. Choi Min-sik is outstanding for the brutal realism he lends to a character from a morality play. The cinematography, production design, lighting—all first rate. It’s a really well made otherworldly movie but ultimately just ... vapid. Definitely worth a watch, but I doubt I’ll return to it.
