    “Incredible”

    2022 RANKED!

    MCU RANKED!

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is a film that I had my worries going into, but this completely exceeded my expectations. I’ve been curious about this movie since it was announced, I needed to see a trailer to truly know what to expect. Then the trailer dropped… and I was completely sold. It looked like an MCU project with actual passion put into it, and this film truly delivered. That’s not what you can say about…

Man I absolutely love this movie. “Excuse me while I obsess over this film until the end of time” - Griffin Schiller. For some odd reason, Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+ were bailing out on me. So my only option was to rewatch this masterpiece. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to see this film by the end…

    M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN RANKED!

The Visit was a pleasant surprise! Really enjoyed this one and even thought I unfortunately knew the twist going into this, I was still on edge the entire time.

The premise of The Visit is simple, it feels different enough to not feel like a cliched plot which works in its favour. The execution here is also really good resulting in a really solid little thriller. I was never bored…

    M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN RANKED!

    M. Night Shyamalan is one of the most interesting directors out there right now. Whether they range from amazing or atrocious, they’re always something distinct which is why I’m always interested when he releases a new film. His prior film, Old, was a complete misfire in my opinion and no matter how many bad films he makes, there’s always a slight glimmer of hope that his next will be great. Amidst…

    M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN RANKED!

Split is undoubtedly one of the better films in Shyamalan’s career. With its unique and interesting twist on this genre, Split manages to keep you very engaged with solid thrills and effective tension.

The best part about Split is one name: James McAvoy. I’d argue that this is an Oscar worthy performance as McAvoy’s has to play so many different characters with contrasted personalities and he nails every single one.…

    “Dull and boring”

    M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN RANKED!

After Earth was just an absolute misfire. I’m not going to bother writing something worthwhile or lengthy for this so I’ll keep it short. The premise itself is interesting and original, but the film just simply isn’t interesting. Every character and every performance is stale and bland and if Will Smith’s acting is boring then you know the movies just isn’t good. The visuals and scale is good, but everything is so lifeless dull and boring. Not worth watching.
