Aronne Ibarra [On Hiatus...Of Sorts✌️]’s review published on Letterboxd:
Roma boasts one of the best slice-of-life stories of all time, one of the best sound designs of all time, and one of the best cinematography of all time (Alfonso Cuaron is a cinematic virtuoso!). It's a technical masterpiece with a lot of ground for realism, tenderness, and heartwarming moments. Expertly composed, shot, and storytold, Roma is simply one of the best pictures to come out of the 2010s. And apparently, only the Academy is dumb enough to not name it Best Picture. Wish I saw it in the cinema (saw Bohemian Rhapsody over this which I thought was good because I was a big Queen fan but hey hindsight is 20/20). Absolutely gorgeous.
