Before I start the review, I wanted to say I won't be very active lately. With my third-term exams coming around the corner I have to start studying and with that being said, I won't be able to watch as many films as I would want to. I'll still be active, just not the usual. I'll be back when I will, which will hopefully be sometime next week!
Well I'll tell ya that My Neighbor Totoro still remains one of the best and most heartfelt animated movies of all-time. It's beautifully put together with stunning animation (especially for its time) and good voice acting. It has this amazing atmosphere and vibe to it that I genuinely love. The score here is amazing, easily one of my favourite film scores ever made. While I still like Grave Of The Fireflies a bit more, this comes damn close in terms of my Ghiblis ranking. It's super comforting, fun and enjoyable. It's also a favourite movie of mine! That's without a doubt. The characters are actually great, Totoro being my favourite character in Ghibli as a whole! Anyway my love for this movie has grown severely since the last time I saw it, and it has definitely went up according to my favourites list!
