80's and 10's horror are my favourite🎃

A great monster film, with post-war undertones.
A dilemma: A scientist creates a weapon capable of killing godzilla but with catastrophic consequences for the world (similar to the atomic bomb). Does it use it or does he hide the discovery, knowing what it might lead to?
First of all, Kathy Bates is terrifying.
Misery has that classic 'Stephen King' feel to it. It's one I've watched a few times and it's stayed with me in the intervening years. The storyline flows smoothly and the style of the film is reminiscent of 'The Shining' - Snow, isolation and a whole lotta crazy.
