This is the wildest and sexiest Campion yet, and I have no idea how Meg Ryan managed this performance against everything else she's done prior to this movie. Mark Ruffalo as a young rookie homicide detective who looks suspiciously like Freddie Mercury sizzles. It's full of depraved sex, city heat, and dangerous tension.
I thought this was a flashy appendix to the original trilogy; I am not wholly a Matrix fan, I do recognize the value that they had on cinema and storytelling, but for me there's something I just don't cling to in terms of things I like.
