Anton Volkov’s review published on Letterboxd:
Come for Natalie Portman, stay for all the other (especially Raffey Cassidy's incredibly layered) performances. Lived up to the hype. Provocative, timely and just eqxuisitely crafted companion to THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER (it's basically sequel/follow-up so that prior film is a must watch as there are a lot of purposeful parallels) with some of the best cinematography and score of the year. Portman hamming it up is of course glorious but it's Cassidy who steals the show. The score is absolutely incredible; it's all provocative, if probably too on the nose but that's the point. Really dug the incredibly McQueen-esque aesthetic when it came to Celeste herself.
