  Do you realize, I would have gone through life half-awake if you‘d had the decency to leave me alone?

  I don’t know why I keep tormenting myself watching movies like this one. Every time I watch Maurice, there’s always a part of me that still hopes he will end up with Clive this time. As a closeted gay man myself, it hurts a lot seeing Clive’s last scene. Even writing about it, gives tears to my eyes. 
  This movie is a masterpiece and one of my all times favorites. 

  And yes, Hugh Grant was hot.
