  "...So kill ko sya 🤪🔪"

  Jun Robles Lana’s direction, everyone’s performances and of course thee ✨camp✨ aspects are top-notch, along with the masterful costumes by Jay Lorenz Conanan. But, as for Lana’s writing? the plot itself, the mystery and the handling of its feminist themes to be specific, felt like a first draft. It felt too contrived for me. 

  Bonus 1 star for the Sasha Velour homage, the use of Wong Kar-wai’s signature step-printing on a scene, and just for all of them being mothers™, sisters™, and daughters™… (yes, honorary mothers™ sina John Arcilla at Christian Bables)
