The zenith of cinema as a medium. No movie has ever felt more timely, sharp, or balanced. A family and identity movie at its core with a breakneck pace alternating between comedy and drama, it draws fantastical elements to pull together a comprehensive scope of its story. Great performances, incredible story, and really touching. A movie that, while watching in the theater, is so clearly intended to be watched primarily in a theater, with sound from all around and shrinking and lengthening frame sizes. All of the near nonsensical elements only work because they are used so smartly towards the climax of the picture, resulting in a sweet and earned ending. MUST. SEE.
