  i missed the feel-good quality to cheesy rom-coms like i enjoyed this more than i expected. also, weirdly enough, this boosted some fascination i have for owen wilson that i cannot for the life of me understand. and damn, the soundtrack?? it’s playing in my head on a loop now.

  i am at a loss for words for this one but i’ll state the obvious: damn, kristen stewart is DETERMINED to get that oscar and i’ll be joining the gays who will be parading her for best actress.

  i am just so in awe of pablo larrain’s direction. it felt like every frame, every shot was done deliberately to add a more poignant texture to its story. it really evoked that melancholic and suffocating feeling of being stuck in place of discontentment and isolation.

  might rewatch this again soon because i like my movies a little sad with a dash of some thriller elements xx
