Night of the Zombies

Night of the Zombies ★★★½

Pretty much the bottom of the barrel in Italian zombie horror, similar to Lucio Fulci’s Zombi 3 (actually directed by Bruno Mattei as was this, and more or less a remake with some extra elements stolen from The Return of the Living Dead)  and Zombi Holocaust, without as much fun as Burial Ground.
The biggest selling point is the elements stolen from Dawn of the Dead (especially the music which is actually taken, in part, from Dawn) and how they play out in an alternate, worse directed and acted universe.
If you’re in the right mood it can be rather fun, but in the wrong mood it is interminable.
