Episodes 1-2 (review of episodes 3-7 here)
Completely by chance, I stumbled upon a sign-up link posted by Mike Flannagan on Twitter at 1:00 AM a few nights ago that was only active for a few minutes, and got to be one of the lucky few to get to watch the first two episodes of Midnight Mass early at the virtual premiere and attend a Zoom Q&A with the cast and crew.
I've been a huge Mike Flannagan fan for years, and he absolutely continues to not dissapoint. From the first two episodes at least, this is absolutely on the same level as The Haunting of Hill House. It's much more Stephen King than Shirley Jackson, but that horror/drama DNA from his previous series is absolutely still here. Don't want to say more than just because I haven't seen the rest of it yet, but I can tell already that this is gonna be special. The full series drops on Netflix this Friday and I plan on watching the entire thing that day.
