A social drama about a mother trying to help her tormented daughter and about science Vs religion inside of a horror film. The Exorcist is such a psychologically frightening film that feels so real and so intense. Each time I sit down to watch this, I feel like I am watching it again for the first time. Every moment makes me fearful and on edge. An incredible film. I don’t know David Gordon Green and Blumhouse plan to top this with their Exorcist film coming out soon.

It's a very interesting and well put together documentary. It's hard not to notice some of the parallels between the Republican Party of the 1980s and Ronald Reagan's presidency with the Republican Party of today and the presidency of Donald Trump.

You really get a good sense of Reagan's character and an idea of what he did for America.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Benedict Wong continue to excel as those characters and it was nice to see them be developed upon in an actual Doctor Strange sequel. The real MVPs are Elizabeth Olsen and Xochitl Gomez. There are some writing and pacing issues, but generally this is a great MCU film that also genuinely feels scary and exciting. At least from…

Jane Campion’s Western is an expertly crafted masterclass in directing, writing and acting. One of the best films of the year. Powerfully intense and a wonderfully beguiling film about power dynamics, toxic male bravado and masculinity. Jonny Greenwood’s score is haunting and foreboding. Ari Wegner’s cinematography is sublime. Brilliant performances from Benedict Cumberbatch, Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons and Kodi Smit-McPhee. I feel it is a great companion piece with Campion’s other film The Piano
