I know everyone and their mothers have described this film as a celebration of life, but there is truly no better description for it.

Despite the more somber moments in it, I can’t help but get so much joy out of it, and it makes me happy to know that’s exactly what Thomas and the cast intended.

As with life, the sad moments just make the happy ones so much brighter.

Youth truly is a state of mind, and movies like this make me a little less scared of growing old. There’s so much to enjoy at any stage of life, and I’m very glad Thomas Vinterberg gave us this as a reminder.
