It’s Zach Anderson Day on Watch This List

Thrilled to be sharing Episode 3: 70s Arthouse Horror with you all just a few days shy of October 1st. My buddy Zach is the only guest thus far who isn’t on Letterboxd, so I’ve linked his IG for those who want to check out his work. Had a blast chatting about films I’d never heard of and may not have seen otherwise.

Check out the audio and video versions, sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.

Bit of a jumbled thematic nightmare with a handful of clever shots. Honestly wish the two weren’t connected at all, but maybe the fact is I’m just never going to like slasher films or grindhouse cinema. Apologies, Mr. West.

Barbarian in a packed theater with people reacting loudly & obnoxiously was a genuine treat. Still think I’d rate it just as highly without that, but it adds a community spirit element to tip the experience into collective cathartic territory. I could hear people talking a few seats away & didn’t mind at all ‘cause they were hilarious. Don’t go down there! Wtf?! Oh no. Oh, she’s crazy
