so annoyed at myself for watching an absolutely soulless film and thinking hmm that wasn’t so bad just because there was a cute talking pet. that’s how megacorporations get u. they know if there’s an animal with big eyes that tells a few jokes i will forgive their laziness. but honestly, i think pixar really missed a trick not giving this a more retro feel when their whole marketing campaign was about andy seeing this in 1995. make it look like that!!
