okay sure, some shots were more experimental than the average mcu farce but sam raimi can’t change the fact that all these films are built on a foundation of solid mediocrity. i found the film so boring and exhausting, and i think this pointless dr strange sequel epitomises how deeply tired i am with this stage of the mcu. one star is harsh — it’s no worse than any other slop marvel has churned out recently, but god. mcu fatigue hit me hard. i just can’t imagine having any appetite for these films at this point 

idk… i think part of me is nostalgic for early mcu fandom, when it was all just deeply embarrassing memes about loki and fanfics where everyone lived in avengers tower and were all besties. now there’s so much lore and so many characters messily thrown together that everyone becomes disposal and nobody can be friends

also the wigs look like shit
