  Ok, I’ll bite: Russell T Davies has a lot, a lot, of heart, and I am so glad he is back full of good intentions, ushering out the joyless vacuum of his predecessors, but this is horrifically bad. Painful, even… Nostalgia is a plague, and Disney is the superspreader. (Very happy for those who enjoyed it!)

  Can’t believe I’m writing this about an Emerald Fennell film but - I loved this. Surprisingly (very) comedic but with its roots steeped in satire, psychosexual and erotic thrillers, it’s a contemporary reimagining of Brideshead Revisited meets Cruel Intentions. Wickedly lavish, designed to the brim with tremendous performances from all involved, and a soundtrack to *literally* die for - it’s a stunning crowd pleaser(?)/provoker.
