Jacob’s review published on Letterboxd:
i watched this for the first time earlier this year, before i had seen the lobster, and it just made me really uncomfortable.
this time around, i thought it was kind of great? some scenes go on for far longer than i would have liked them to, and while i get the point of them, some of the weirder moments probably weren't necessary in telling this story. still though, there's something really haunting about this and it definitely has a lot to say about family structures and relationships in general.
