| This is it Jennifer, your big break in TV! Welcome to prime time, bitch!
This movie is a huge step up from the second movie, and while it's campier and funnier than the first one, I think it's a could evolution of Freddy's character into the subsequent film. Freddy's still terrifying, and seemingly unstoppable, but we also get the comedic twist of his sick sense of humour, and start to get a more fleshed out backstory for him. We also get to explore the dimensions of the dream world far more than we ever did in the previous two movies.
Patricia Arquette does a great job as the lead, and Heather Langenkamp and John Saxon are both amazing to see back.
This movie also has an underrated soundtrack with some real bops.
I'll never get sick of this movie. What a treat.
