My friend once told me that he used to drink a bottle of vodka right before working on his undergraduate thesis; I used to think it was stupid but the joke was on me because he passed. This film solidified his advice that I do the same, because alcohol is apparently the magic antidote lmao. Watching this truly made me miss hanging (and blacking) out with friends pre-COVID.
But in all seriousness I didn't know that this was a tearjerker, the little soccer boys being at the funeral particularly tugged my heartstrings. Love the camera work and sound editing throughout the film as well. This reminds me of one of my favorite kdramas Drinking Solo, although this is much cooler because of Mads Mikkelsen's dance break in the end. I'd definitely recommend this to my friends; and I think it's best to watch this without having knowledge of what it's about because it's like watching how life unfolds.
