Big oof! This movie doesn't age well. Edgar Wright, the music, the nerdery, the endlessly quoteable dialogue can't make up for how much of a g a r b a g e c a n Scott is and how it's not a great message to send to men of his ilk.
Side note: didn't the original graphic novel have a different ending? How else can you explain the movie going 60 to punching the breaks and giving you whiplash in the last two minutes.
Some people are saying this is Oscar Bait for Natalie Portman. Those people can fuck right off. I say that not out of humor, but because this completely steals the legitimacy and purpose to her performance.
