    First They Killed My Father

    ★★★½

The purpose of the film is to get the viewer into the life of the little girl and Angelina Jolie succeeded perfectly. The director has managed to make us see from the point of view of Loung all that she suffered, tried and I must say that the actress was phenomenal, as well as all the other actors. As for the excellent photography, the direction, as for fantastic interpretations. It is a very raw, realistic film that tells the reality as it is, for this deserves a lot.

  • Ford v Ferrari

    Ford v Ferrari

    ★★★★

Let's start from the assumption that I am a F1 fan so the fact that they made Ferrari as a group of bad guys and clowns didn't really go down to me (I am a ferrarista)
Joking aside the movie is well constructed and the duo of Matt Damon and Christian Bale was spectacular. The story is simple , but in its simplicity it captures the viewer's attention in the emotions of the driver and what it feels like to…

Shaw was an officer in the Federal Army during the American Civil War who volunteered to lead the first company of black soldiers. Shaw was forced to deal with the prejudices of both the enemy (who had orders to kill commanding officers of blacks), and of his own fellow officers.
Great scenography and performances but it's not the kinda stuff I'd watch

  • Pride & Prejudice

    Pride & Prejudice

    ★★★½

I have to be honest reading the reviews I immediately thought it was a masterpiece. Firstly The direction was excellent I love Joe Wright's direction because he manages to involve you in the smallest details of the story such as in Atonement or The Darkest Hour. In addition, with regard to the interpretations I find Keira Knightley good but at the same time not convincing. The story is of course romantic dramatic is very engaging but at the same time…

  • American Psycho

    American Psycho

    ★★★

Not the movie I expected however there are points to analyze:
First, the performances of Bale and Dafoe incredibly excellent.
The direction is good and involves a lot.
But the story jesus yes okay for the touch of thriller / horror but an absurd banality.
Of course my point of view but appreciable.

I thought it was a mixture of lady bird and isn't it romantic
At times funny, with jokes that in irony really reflect reality.
Olivia Wilde's directorial debut not bad.

An exciting story with two pillars of cinema :
Hanks and Denzel are fantastic, a duo intertwined with incredible performances.
It was an engaging film, although the important subject matter covered.

  • Raya and the Last Dragon

    Raya and the Last Dragon

    ★★★½

Spectacular effects and on this aspect Disney never disappoints.
But the story is a mix of past animated films like Frozen and some aspect of Onward.
I've always believed that fantasy came first.
Here there was very little original but I can not deny the work behind the film.
