    Frances Ha

i rewatch frances ha every two years. every watch has been a different experience--i related to frances in the first two; this one, it's definitely sophie--but all of them felt like a hug.

i still had a lot of emotions throughout the entire thing, but all for the different reasons as the first two watches. this is probably the most times i've cried tho. i'm not sure if it's the maturity i gained in the past two years or it's…

i've been too busy recently, but i snorted this into my system in two nights. who needs sleep anyway? i missed being this hooked into a tv show, where i could binge watch for literal hours. with my fucked up attention span, i don't know how to do that anymore. apparently, it isn't my attention span, there just isn't that many good tv anymore. lol. this one gave me breaking bad-levels hook.

pls, i just want to have deep conversations with people over beer again.

what an absolute delight! this shits on all the fake-date trope movies/books ever, and it's already among my favorite coming-of-age films. i am so happy for these kids!!!

  • Spotlight

    holy fuck.

evenly paced, but it lures you in. riveting storytelling of a not-unheard-of phenomenon and still manages to invoke shock from the audience. what a powerhouse of an ensemble cast. the film covered such a controversial yet important subject and i liked how it just told the narrative as it is without trying to sensationalize an aspect of the story. the end credits part was so infuriating and disgusting, i had literal chills. fuck the church, tbh.

    i too…
